Raether Forge LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates Command ReForged at commandreforged.com and the Command Go mobile application (collectively, the "Service").
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our Service. By using Command ReForged, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (via Google, Apple, or email/password sign-in).
Usage & Study Data
We collect data about your study sessions, including answers submitted, time spent, accuracy rates, mastery levels, and study patterns. This data powers our adaptive learning algorithms to personalize your experience.
Device Information
We collect device type, operating system, app version, and crash reports to maintain service reliability. On mobile, we collect your push notification token if you enable notifications.
Analytics Data
We use analytics to understand how features are used and improve the Service. Analytics data is collected only with your consent via our cookie consent banner. You can opt out at any time.
Locally Stored Data
The mobile app may store a small number of study questions on your device for offline use. This data is encrypted and automatically deleted when you sign out. Your answers while offline are queued and synced to our servers when you reconnect.
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the adaptive learning service
- Personalize question selection, difficulty, and study recommendations
- Power coaching features that respond to your performance patterns
- Generate text-to-speech audio of study materials in The Library
- Track your progress and generate performance analytics
- Send push notifications (study reminders, streak alerts, weekly summaries) if enabled
- Send transactional emails (welcome, weekly digest) related to your account
- Monitor service health and diagnose crashes or errors
- Communicate service updates and respond to support requests
- Improve and develop new features
Command ReForged uses artificial intelligence to deliver its adaptive learning experience. Your data may be processed by the following AI services:
- Anthropic Claude — Powers coaching conversations and content quality validation. Your study context (performance data, not personal information) may be included in prompts to provide personalized coaching.
- OpenAI — Used in our content generation pipeline to create study questions from source material. Also used to generate text-to-speech audio for The Library feature. The text of study materials (department SOPs, policies, protocols) is sent to OpenAI for audio generation. Your personal data is not sent to OpenAI.
We do not sell your data to AI providers. Data sent to AI services is used solely to deliver features within Command ReForged. AI providers do not use your data to train their models.
We use the following third-party services to operate Command ReForged:
- Supabase — Database hosting, authentication, and file storage
- Google — OAuth authentication
- Apple — Sign-In with Apple authentication
- Stripe — Payment processing (when active)
- Vercel — Web application hosting
- Cloudflare — DNS and security services
- Sentry — Error monitoring and crash reporting (collects device info and error context, no study data)
- PostHog — Product analytics (consent-based, opt-out available via cookie banner)
- Resend — Transactional email delivery (welcome emails, weekly digests)
- Expo — Mobile push notification delivery
Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
The web application uses a cookie consent banner on your first visit. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies at any time.
- Essential cookies — Required for authentication and basic functionality. Always active.
- Analytics cookies — Used by PostHog to understand feature usage. Only active if you accept. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser storage.
The mobile app uses local storage (AsyncStorage and SecureStore) for authentication tokens, user preferences, and offline study data. This data stays on your device and is cleared when you sign out.
The mobile app may request permission to send push notifications. These include:
- Daily study reminders at your preferred study time
- Streak protection alerts
- Due review reminders
- Weekly study summaries
- Re-engagement messages if you haven't studied in several days
You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings. Your push notification token is stored in your profile and cleared when you sign out.
Your data is stored in Supabase PostgreSQL databases hosted in the United States. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data.
On mobile devices, offline study data is encrypted using keys stored in your device's secure enclave (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). Authentication tokens are stored in hardware-backed secure storage, not in plain text.
While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your information.
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data stored in our system
- Correct inaccurate information in your profile
- Delete your account and all associated data (available in Settings on both web and mobile)
- Reset your study progress without deleting your account
- Opt out of analytics tracking via the cookie consent banner
- Disable push notifications through your device settings
- Export your study data upon request

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (via Settings), we permanently remove your personal data and study history immediately. Account deletion is irreversible.
Anonymized, aggregated data (such as overall platform statistics) may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked back to individual users.
Offline data stored on your device is encrypted and automatically cleared when you sign out. Unsynced answers are retained locally for up to 30 days before being purged.
Command ReForged is designed for adult professionals preparing for fire service promotional examinations. It is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
